World Health Qigong Day 2025

The growing popularity of Health Qigong is due to many factors and one of them is importance of a healthy lifestyle. Health Qigong as an exercise is suitable for all kinds of people who, by participating in Health Qigong practice, can feel both physical and mental benefits. Health Qigong is particularly attractive for modern people. With the acceleration of the pace of life and the increase of work pressure, a balanced and happy life was never more important. As a simple and effective way of exercise, Health Qigong has become an ideal choice for people to pursue a healthy and happy life.
The annual World Health Qigong Day is celebrated on the 2nd Saturday in September. Organised by the International Health Qigong Federation (www.ihqfo.org/en), it is an opportunity to showcase the practice of Health Qigong globally.
ausWushu encourages all members to spend a part of this day at a local park practising and promoting Health Qigong, individually or in groups. Any photos or written notes of experience will be welcome for publication in the Wushu Herald!
