28 November 2010
The very first Conference under this name organized by Wushu & Tai Chi NSW was held in 2010 at Macquarie University, Sydney as a pilot project. A small group of Wushu, Tai Chi and Qigong enthusiasts was keen to exchange their ideas, experiences and research results. Among presenters were Dr Verna Rieschild from Macquarie University, Dr Alex Shamin, Terri Shilston and others. Topics ranged from personal experience in Tai Chi, Bagua and Wushu to interpretation of Bagua symbols.
For some time, the Conference organisers’ efforts on constructive engagement of Wushu, Tai Chi and Qigong practitioners seemed to be lost…
They weren’t. Now the Conference is back.
