Mark Butler, Minister for Health announced recently that Tai Chi had been approved for private health insurance rebates. Not all, if any, insurance companies will offer rebates, but the research evidence in favour of TC (through an NHMRC review process) was sufficient to see it approved as an evidence-based natural therapy health intervention.
