Demon City (2025)
The story: Shûhei Sakata is a skilled hitman, but after his last job he is ambushed at his family home by five men wearing Oni masks. His wife and child are killed and he is left with a gun shot to the head. Despite being comatose, he spends 12 years being taken care of by a friend until he is attacked later by one of the masked killers. He gets his mobility back, and regains his physical capabilities , and finds her alive child and seeks bloody revenge on the men who took his family away from him, on the eve of them opening up a megacomplex.
I loved this movie start to finish amazing action maybe some the best fighting scenes I have ever seen !! yes it’s not super realistic but it’s a movie !!!! guy in coma comes out after 12 years and can kick butt right away, well he has a demon in him ,Guess what movies and tv shows are unrealistic that’s what makes them fun and entertaining if u want something real or close to real watch a reality show , one piece isn’t realistic either but I love it !! Great Saturday night action movie. If you like Kill Bill/John Wick/Oldboy, I am pretty sure you will love this movie. I love that it’s not dragged out and it felt very fast pace.
The concept of this movie was quite good in the beginning, very nice plot… but the dude sakata never dying in spite of being hit by rods on his head, being stabbed multiple times, and being shot by an arrow…and one man fighting many armed men is crazy…I’m assuming he’s the demon which is why he was able to survive, but too much gore for me in the end. imo, this could have been a great movie if they kept it a bit realistic.
