The Australian Sanda Head Coach Rodel Glanville reported:

What a fantastic way to conclude the IWUF 10th Sanda World Cup, with Australia making its debut in this world-class event!
Michael Woodward took home GOLD in the Men’s 85kg division.
Nicole Lowe-Tarbert earned BRONZE in the Women’s 65kg.
What an incredible achievement for both athletes!


The 10th Wushu Sanda World Cup came to a successful conclusion, with China taking the lead with 7 Gold medals, while Australia and Hong Kong set their first Gold medals in SWC history.
The Vietnamese team ranked 2nd with 4 Gold medals and 2 Silver medals, while the Iranian team ranked 3rd with 3 gold medals and 1 silver medal, continuing the stable performance of traditional strong teams.
The Indian team won 1 Gold medal and 5 Silver medals, ranking 4th in the medal table; the Hong Kong team won 1 Gold medal, 1 Silver medal and 2 Bronze medals, winning the 1st Gold medal in history and ranking 5th; the Philippines team ranked 6th with 1 Gold medal and 2 Bronze medals. The Australian team achieved a historic breakthrough with 1 Gold medal and 1 Bronze medal. The representative teams of Kazakhstan, Italy, Brazil, Tunisia, Bermuda, Mexico, Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan all won Silver medals, demonstrating the vigorous development of Wushu Sanda around the world.
The Chinese team topped the medal table with 7 Gold medals, once again demonstrating its outstanding strength in the field of the World Wushu Sanda.
