Invincible Swordsman (2025)
“Invincible Swordsman,” a new film adaptation of the classic wuxia novel by Jin Yong, also known as Louis Cha, is set for online release on the Chinese mainland and theatrical releases in Hong Kong and Taiwan during China’s traditional Spring Festival holiday.
Wuxia is a genre of Chinese fiction centered on martial arts heroes.
Directed by Luo Yiwei and written by Wong Jing, the film adapts Jin Yong’s 1967 novel “The Smiling, Proud Wanderer.” It stars Zhang Yuqi, Tim Huang and Sammo Hung and follows the journey of swordsman Linghu Chong, who yearns to leave the martial arts world but finds himself drawn into a confrontation with the enigmatic leader of the Demonic Sect, Dongfang Bubai, leading to a thrilling adventure.

Watch this if you like Xiao Ao Jiang Hu, or just watch it for a Wuxia fantasy fu, but it’s a well worth 2 hour if you like these types of movie. (imdb.com)
just info, this is the remake of the 1991-1992 one that featuring Jet Li and Brigitte Lin, produced by the same producer Wong Jing. So if everyone has watched the old version before, then have an image of what the movie will be like (My Drama List)
looks good I want to watch! If I’m not mistaken Sammo plays hermit Master Feng which is a very important character teaching the hero but directly appears only once in the original story. Great nod to Sammo’s real life martial arts status. (Kung Fu Fandom)
