The Osher Center for Integrative Medicine Looking for Research Participants

The Osher Center for Integrative Medicine, in collaboration with the Motion Analysis Lab at Spaulding Rehabilitation Hospital, is conducting a 12-week research study for older adults between 60-85 years old. It is investigating whether a new remote tai chi program can demonstrate improvement in balance over the 12-week period.
The instructional material includes pre-recorded classes, plus live one-on-one sessions taught by Stanwood Chang. Ideally we are seeking individuals who have some comfort with basic technology like computers and smartphones, and who will not be overwhelmed when opening a box of gadgets and cables. (Equipment used for the study will be shipped for free.)
The study is limited to 30 participants, and offers up to $240 for participation. It will likely fill up quickly, so please let us know (treeoflifetaichi@earthlink.net) if you have someone in mind and have them contact Dan Litrownik at dlitrown@bwh.harvard.edu.
